JON LANGFORD & SKULL ORCHARD There's a jolly absurdity in that one of the most important figures on the independent Americana scene and one of the most prolific figures in Chicago's musical community is a guy from Wales who helped found an enduring U.K. punk outfit. But since the mid-'80s, Jon Langford has been a key figure in the nexus between country and punk rock, as well as a vital collaborator with a wealth of musicians from around the world. Langford's career began in 1976 when he founded the chaotic leftist punk band the Mekons, and he would continue to record with them for the next four decades, while they detoured into folk (The Mekons Story), electronic music (F.U.N. 90), country rock (Fear & Whiskey), and any number of other styles. In the '80s, he was also part of the guitar-and-drum machine combo the Three Johns, and after relocating to the United States in the '90s, he formed the celebrated alt-country band the Waco Brothers (best heard on 1997's Cowboy in Flames). From 2000 onward, the prolific Langford recorded with a variety of projects, from the covers-friendly Pine Valley Cosmonauts to the R&B-influenced Four Lost Souls, while also establishing a reputation as a respected visual artist.

DIRTY GREEN DIRTY GREEN IS ALL ORIGINAL HEART WAILING FOLKIN' PUNKTRY MUSIC!!! .As if from the soil itself, DIRTY GREEN emerged in 2005 and has continued to cultivate a hybrid of authentic, yet truly original music planted deep down in the ground of early american roots. DIRTY GREEN’s namesake comes from a song written by singer/songwriter Aaron Mitchell which pokes fun at the lopsided and fictional attributes of the almighty dollar bill. Influenced by, but not limited to: american folk, Americana, bluegrass, blues, punk and early country, DIRTY GREEN offers a wide array of original ballads, blue-collar rants, pseudo-rockabilly romps, bar room jingles and a hearty batch of heart-wailing folk songs.

Vocals/Guitar: Aaron Mitchell Lead Guitar/ lapsteel: Dennis Kardys Drums/percussion: Dean Radzik Upright Bass: Maggie Deagan.

MOCK NINE Mock Nine is an Indie Rock band from Chicago whose members include Tommy Langford, Franklin Brady, and Mac Campbell, James Bruce, and Sam Grosman
