Match that with a great stage presence and drop dead gorgeous looks accompanying a perfect visual adherence to mid century vintage style. Now combine her with the killer rockabilly instrumentation of slapping upright bass, swinging drums and virtuoso guitar and you’ve got The Tammi Savoy and The Chris Casello Combo. Miss Tammi grew up listening to classic rhythm and blues, rock ’n’ roll and jazz. She is the baby sister of the multi platinum contemporary R&B phenom Next. Tammi, however digs deep into the roots of American soul. Tammi effortlessly captures the feel and sounds of Ruth Brown, Laverne Baker, Sarah Vaughan and many more obscure greats of that genre. Chris Casello is a veteran of Detroit, Nashville and Chicago music scenes. Mr. Casello is the 2017 Ameripolitan Musician of the year and has played in over a dozen countries; backed up countless pioneers of rock, country and blues; voted Best of Nashville Scene Honk Tonk Hero and critic’s choice in 2012. Chris is also a 2nd generation inductee to Rockabilly Hall of Fame and has performed everywhere from The Lincoln Center to the Grand Ol’ Opry. After meeting at a gig in Chicago the pair started jamming and recording. The basically live recordings from those sessions started receiving an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response from those who were privy to hearing them. Incredibly, in a few short weeks the group hasalready made appearances at Viva Las Vegas, the Nashville Boogie and is booked on several festivals from blues and jazz to hot rod shows.

The group, featuring Chicago rhythm section Jesse Woelfel on bass and Russ Deluca on drums have released a new six song EP and are slated for a vinyl single on Swelltune Records for release September 2018.
